Children are continually changing and it's fascinating to watch. Each day brings new and exciting developments as they change physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. It's all we can do to keep up with them. Hang on and enjoy the ride.

Children generally follow a pattern of growth and development and the more you are aware of the common characteristics at the different stages the more effective you'll be in teaching him or her. Regardless of the age of your child, be patient, respectful, loving and sensitive to their abilities. Do not expect more than they are able to do.
